Banksy
Banksy is among the artists, March 22 to 30, will be exhibited at Superstudio Più, simultaneously to MiArt. In the week of art (con) Temporary Art presents temporary galleries located in different locations in Zona Tortona, the most creative of Milan. Banksy is one of the leaders of Street Art, The Art of the street literally and public places, which manifests itself often illegally spray, stickers and stencils, video projections, sculptures, etc ... grew up in Bristol, Banksy has been able to conceal all these years, his true identity, even now that his fame has turned the entire planet. His work, in itself brilliant, often deeply satirical strong political, ethical and religious, have been named and Guerrilla Art are mainly made with the technique of the stencil. Banksy started his career at the end of the eighties and his stencils have begun to appear in Bristol, then London and finally in more capital Europee.Qui under the famous kiss of the police, in 2006, still preserved behind a glass case near the station train to Brighton, one of the few works of Banksy still intact.
Some other famous works are Sweep, who was present in the neighborhood of Camden Town, London (now the same wall was rimbiancata, I discovered with disappointment last year) and the scene in Pulp Fiction with John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson version "bananari" in Soho.
Other works are Stencil this in Pollard Row, E2 (London) and its famous Rats wandering the streets of London.
Banksy is a genius, my favorite street artist, if you happen to move next week for a visit to the Zona Tortona SuperstudioPiù let it come on!
